Bel V (before: AVN) was a major contractor of the European Commission FP5 project called CEMSIS (Cost Effective Modernisation of Systems Important to Safety) which took place in 2000-2003. AVN was responsible of the workpackage one (WP1) of this project, which produced a detailed proposal for a safety justification framework for computer based systems important to safety. More details on CEMSIS can be obtained at the CEMSIS public site.
