Bel V aims to make its website accessible and usable by everyone as much as possible, including visitors with motor, visual or hearing impairments.

Compliance status

This website (https://www.belv.be/en/) partially complies with the Act of 19 July 2018 on the accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public organisations and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1. The partial compliance can be justified by the exemption ground on which Bel V can rely. Indeed, it would impose a disproportionate burden on Bel V if it had to bring the website into full compliance with the legal requirements.

For example, the following elements of the website do not meet legal requirements:

  • The contrast ratio between the text colour and background colour does not meet the minimum requirements. The user cannot choose or adjust the foreground and background colours of the text blocks on the website.
  • Not all parts of the website are fully accessible using only keyboard controls.
